Lily Lo is a Licensed CPA in both the U.S. and Canada, specializing in U.S. and Canadian taxation, with extensive professional experience since 1998. Lily Lo CPA Professional Corporation is registered with both the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Lily is also authorized to represent the taxpayers before the IRS and CRA to deal with various tax matters and tax audits.

Lily is licensed to practice before the IRS and is one of the few Certified Acceptance Agents (CAA) in Edmonton authorized to certify Canadian passports for IRS ITIN applications. In addition, she is appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths in and for the Province of Alberta by Alberta Justice and Solicitor General.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, where she earned her Master’s degree in Accounting, Lily has accumulated decades of public accounting and taxation experience.

Her professional background includes serving in various tax advisory roles with KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Deloitte LLP, and Collins Barrow LLP. She has provided comprehensive U.S., Canadian, and U.S.–Canada cross-border tax services to corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, individuals, and non-residents. Her expertise includes analyzing U.S.–Canada tax treaties, identifying cross-border tax planning opportunities, and advising on foreign asset disclosure requirements.

Lily became a Certified General Accountant (CGA) in Canada in 2010 and obtained her U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 2011. She completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Program (Levels I, II, and III) in 2013 and went on to earn her second Master’s degree in U.S. Taxation from Golden Gate University in 2017.
